This logo was designed as part of a 1998 re-branding of 15-story hotel at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. The hotel celebrates beachfront boardwalks with a sand-and-surf theme.

The logo attempts to capture the 1920's boardwalk "look" with stylized type within an ocean-blue iron and latticework background while larger than life above is a beautiful smiling sun.

As evidence of the success, the hotel has not been re-branded again.
