This was one of the first jobs I procured after my advertising schooling. It was a temporary in-house freelance job for three months.

A new client had an existing box juice drink for children where the packaging needed updating. It had rather adult graphics of fruit for each flavor. The target market was children six to ten years old. I provided several adult concepts, but I made sure to present one of which used cartoon characters.

The client bought one of my adult concepts for their existing drink boxes. They also decided to buy the cartoon character concept and shortly thereafter introduced an entirely new box drink called Good Buddies.

This was not only a success in the market place but it won an Andy Award from the Advertising Club of New York.

As a result of the success of this packaging, I was offered a permanent job.
