Goosebumps Box.jpg

This project was two fold. Dreamworks' new computer game for children called for some company branding and a refresh of the existing Goosebumps logo.

The previous logo was a flat black color. The type was interesting and unique but the plain coloration did not embellish the name and also the feeling you get when you read a fantastic children's story. There needed to be a feeling of real 'goose bumps' in the type. So the texture of the type was manipulated to look more 3-D and creepy.

The green dripping goo around the entire top of the package was created as branding for this and future product. It was not only unique and creepy, but gave Dreamworks an eye-catching presence on store shelves.

This marketing became a great sales tool.
